finally..

i just finished watching gossip girl s2 e 21(seder anything) and i think it’s freaking hilarious.. definitely worth the wait!!

tsktsk.. my mom agreed to buy me a maltese! yay!! although i told her to give it to me as a graduation gift.. so i guess i have to wait until next year. i know it’s a bit confusing that i ask my mom to buy a puppy next year where in fact i said to my previous post that i want a maltese so badly. well i researched a bit(alot actually) about maltese and i found out that they(maltese pups) wants to be the center of attention of their owner and right now (believe it or not)i want to focus more on my studies. another thing, i don’t want to leave my maltese alone with our house helper for 9 hours while i’m at school.

i want one..

i always wanted a shih tzu but i always end up not buying one. and now i wanted a maltese so badly and it’s all because of baby ji. baby ji is ji cun xi’s dog on the taiwanese series fated to love you.

i’ve been craving for truffles for about months now and unfortunately, malls, supermarkets and even duty free stores located near our area doesn’t sell any. so i got really excited when they(my parents) asked me if i wanted to go to subic because i’m sure that we will stop by the duty free stores before heading back home. fast forward.. we went to “all hands beach resort” and i saw some of my classmates when i was in high school. yay?!? no! no! no! yikes!! do you know the feeling when you accidentally met someone(you know) in a place that you don’t want to meet them? that’s exactly what i felt. i dunno why. maybe because they are not my peers or i just find their group very non-accomodating. anyways, so after spending some time there we went duty free and *drumroll* they have truffles! yay! i bought a pack and also grab a starbucks mocha frapp drink then we went home. weeh! so happy!!

i wasn’t able to online myself yesterday and when i login..just a few minutes ago.. i found out that i have 20 unread emails, 14 offline messages(ym)and 4 new comments(youtube channel). wow! i was really shocked its as if i didn’t login for a week.

aol, book, post it, and fated to love you

i love aol mail! they have these cute and sometimes silly “loading messages” and the “you’ve got mail!” message. it always remind me of that movie of tom hanks and meg ryan.. what is it called? o yeah.. “you’ve got mail”.

here are some example of those “loading message” that i’m talking about..

yesterday, i went to national bookstore to buy Adeline Yen Mah’s Falling Leaves but i ended up buying a post  it instead. for those of you who aren’t familiar what a post it is..it is a small piece of paper which has an adhesive on the back so it can be easily attach it to other “surfaces”. according to wikipedia, surfaces like walls, desks, foreheads, computer displays, and so forth. forehead? why would i want a post it on my forehead?

after national bookstore, i also went to booksale and i’ve bought a hardcover copy of “a perfect day” by richard paul evans which only cost 50 pesos. can you believe it 50 pesos for a hardcover book.

i assume that you have heard of the taiwanese drama, fated to love you, right? it’s currently being aired on gma7 and i happen to watched it last monday. i did said to my previous post that i don’t watch tv that much(or did i not said that?). anyway, i got too excited to what will happen next so.. i watched it online. what i mean is, i watched ALL the remaining episodes(11 episodes, 1 hour each episode). so, i conclude that i spent 11 hours infront of the monitor reading subtitles. i don’t regret it tough, it’s actually a very nice “romantic comedy”.

*contain spoilers* anne curtis was the girl on the new teaser of gma films. yep! she is richard gutierrez’s new leading lady in his upcaoming movie “maybe this time”. i’ve seen the teaser several times but i never tought that it would be anne. why? maybe because anne is kapamilya and richard is kapuso? btw, gma films is good in making teasers and trailers unlike other pinoy film makers’.. when you see their trailer you can predict the plot of the story and even the ending!

i watched sky high again. don’t you think it’s more proper to address michael angarano as “the dude from sky high” rather than “OMG! that’s kristen stewart’s boyfriend!!”

i saw i love betty la fea(filipino version) awhile ago. hindi pa rin pala gumaganda si betty noh? i’m not an avid fan though. i rarely watch tv nowadays.

why do pinoys are very fond of remaking other country’s soap operas(e.g. marimar, betty la fea, my girl, etc.)? i think tv networks should focus more on doing soap operas that are made-in-the-philippines as some may call it. And based from what i heard.. abs-cbn will do a remake of lovers in paris(confirmed!) and gma with full house.

sweet tooth?

why do they refer people who are fond of eating sweets as “sweet tooth persons”? isn’t it one can identify a taste(whether it is sweet or sour) through their taste buds which are located on the tongue? hmm..

Anyway, i love eating sweets particularly cupcakes and “mrs. fields blueberry muffin”. Trivia: cupcakes are miniature cakes and usually contain frosting while a muffins are bread-like, usually contain fruit of some sort and “often” sweetened.

Elvis and Anabelle

I’m so into “indie” nowadays. first with indie bands and now indie films.i may sound biased with this but my most anticipated indie film to be release in a dvd is Elvis and Anabelle starring Blake Lively and Max Minghella.

Elvis and Anabelle is a lovestory between Anabelle, a beauty queen, who fell inlove with a mortician, Elvis, whom she met after her death. yep! you’ve read it right, they met after she died. when i first saw the trailer, i rush to the nearest music/video store to buy a copy because i thought it was already out since the film was an entry to the film festival held in Texas way back 2007 but later i found out that it wasn’t yet released. aw. that’s the problem with indie films, they have a tight budget and it first should be a hit before they actually release a dvd. anyway, many say that a dvd will be released and in fact it will be this 2009. yay! *cross fingers*

from darcy to everything

I have this huge “Mr. Darcy-obsession ” going on for about 4 years now. Yes, i’m talking about Fitzwilliam Darcy from Jane Austen’s classic, Pride and Prejudice. I first read the book when i was in fourth year high school and i must have read it at least 7 times since then. I used to have my own copy of the book but someone borrowed it and he/she(i’ve no idea who the culprit is!) never returned it to me. Anyhoo.. because of this darcy-obsession of mine, i started buying and reading books which has a “mr. darcy” on it like…

Obviously, because of the title>>  <<because of the tagline “she met her mr. darcy..”

 ..i always ended up being disappointed because their story line is EXACTLY like P&P. I don’t blame anyone though, i bought those books with my own free will and i should have expected the similarities with the story line.

whatelsetowrite..  Pride and Prejudice the movie! seen it. downloaded it. sync it to my ipod. LOVE IT! It is probably the best from-book-to-big-screen movie i’ve seen so far. Incredible cast–Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen are both good actors they really gave justice to the characters–the locations are perfect and the alternative ending is.. AMAZING!

As part of our custom, we went to sta. rita(at the house of one of my uncle who lived there) to (celebrate?) commemorate holy wednesday and watch the procession(tama ba? prosisyon ng mga imahe ng mga santo’t santa). We reached sta. rita before lunch time and as i expect it, we are the first one to actually arrived there. honestly, i’m always excited going to my uncle’s house to see my cousins (and my lola?). i am unaware though that my cousin/gal pal is still having her summer class so i waited for her for about.. hmm..8 hours? well, it doesn’t matter it’s worth the wait anyway(with all the kwentos and chismis). haha. fast forward. the procession ended then we left at 10pm. tsktsk. Happy Birthday Andy!

Ever heard of the indie band “Hot Rod Circuit”? they are currently my favorite band. i love them! if you’re into alternative rock music or just want to here something new, try to download and listen to their songs, you might love them too! woot-woot!.

i find it very unusual that one of my friend/classmate isn’t ONLINE in her ym(nope! she’s not in “invi” mode either). she is actually the last person whom i expect to be offline.

if you havn’t noticed, almost all.. well as of now, all of my blog entry’s titles are dates(e.g 04.05.09). this was actually inspired by my latest guilty pleasure.. Gossip Girl.(remember dan’s article title? season 2 episode 1)

I’m addicted.. hmm no, i’m obsessed with gossip girl! i started watching it last year out of curiousity and the next thing i know i’m downloading each new episode of it every week.

chuck and blair forever?! i’m actually rooting for serena and nate(weird pairing.. huh?). forget lonely boy! he is blake’s off-cam beau anyway.

i’m also addicted to blake. i like her height, hair, personality, her dog!(penny is so cute!) and even her laugh which most people find it very annoying. i just love everything about her.. in a non-lesbian way!
