woot. woot.

if you have been reading my previous posts or following me on twitter, you probably knew by now that i’m really really looking forward in reading and watching time traveler’s wife. well, yesterday i did saw the movie.. online. it is currently being shown in the some parts of the country excluding region 3, where we’re located at. i have no idea why they’re not showing it here. :-/

anyway, here’s what i can say about the film, actors and stuffs..

• i was quite disappointed with the movie.. i don’t know.. maybe because i expect too much from the film that it can’t possibly live to my expectation.
• the actors were good. the child who plays claire(6 years old) is so cute. 
• the effects were great. the part were henry’s body was disappearing/fading.. so cool. it looks real.
• the transition is very confusing. sometimes can’t distinguish if the setting is in the past or present.. or is it henry from the past going into present or past going to present or future.
• i wasn’t sure if this was shown and i’m just not paying attention or it was not shown at all.. how exactly did henry die?
• i’m expecting that the ending would be dramatically sad but.. it’s not. well, yes it is sad but not as sad or not the same as the sadness i felt upon the ending of meg ryan and nicholas cage’s city of angels.

over all time traveler’s wife is a feel-good movie. a movie that makes you believe that love is patient and that it can conquer all even those not-so-normal things. this movie is a must-see for all those hopeless romantic people out  there.
