toothy.
August 13, 2010
If a normal adult have 32 teeth in total, I probably will (my wisdom teeth aren’t yet develop) have 28. I used to wear braces because my teeth are a bit big for my jaw hence they crowd up. My dentist had to remove 4 teeth in order to fix the problem. So do the math.. 28 in total. Ideally, after the removal of braces you need to wear retainers. I did wear retainers but I think I only wore them for a month then I got lazy. And the result of not wearing retainers.. I got gaps in between my teeth. The gaps weren’t big though but its enough for food to stuck in and so I need to floss regularly to ensure I won’t have dental cavities.
Do you floss your teeth before you brush or after? Because I floss mine after and when I’m all done flossing there’s an urge for me to brush again. It’s a waste of tooth paste and water I know but I really feel it’s a must for me to brush again. I have tried before to floss first then brush but I felt that my teeth and the spaces between aren’t clean enough so I ended up flossing again.
Tooth pastes. We in the family use Colgate for as long as I remember. Colgate has a lots of kind of toothpaste which I already lost count off. Anyway we’re not much particular about the kind as long as it’s Colgate we’ll buy it. Apparently, what we’re using now is the Colgate whitening. I don’t like it. After brushing I want the fresh/cool feeling and this toothpaste doesn’t give that satisfying feeling.
Romeo and Juliet broke my heart
August 9, 2010“Romeo” and “Juliet” two names that seems to be inseprable. Shakespeare is genuis(is he not?) because only a genius can make a reel fictional character real. Many do believe that Romeo and Juliet were real, that once upon a time in Verona there was a girl named Juliet who fell in love with a boy named Romeo and.. yeah.. they both die in the end. ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is indeed a good story, may be one of the best literary masterpiece ever written. But what I don’t understand is.. why is their story an epitome of a great love story? Seriously? They were too young. Juliet was if I’m not mistaken 13 and eventhough Romeo’s age wasn’t mentioned it’s quite assumable that it is close to Juliet’s age. Okay, let’s not go with the whole age doesn’t matter thing. My point here is.. they’re still at puberty. How will we know if it’s really true love or it’s just the hormones. Hormones can make you act based on pure urge and impulses. And another thing, in the end they both die which is heartbreaking! Maybe it’s just me but would you not prefer a happy ending than a tragic one? But if you’ll look in another way.. Romeo and Juliet probably will not be as memorable as it is now if they had a happy ending.
Old School is Cool
August 3, 2010I’m a self-proclaimed techie. I like and love everything that is IN. I sometimes can’t imagine myself living in a world where technology doesn’t exist. But lately it seems my taste preference was a bit change. I still like gizmos but I really really like/want stuffs that were used before–things that you will rarely see in malls. I made a list of those “old school” things that I want. If you know a seller of any of the items please inform me..
My old school want list
Vinyl Record Player and Vinyl Records - I just love music.
Old Polaroid Camera - Polaroid are still manufacturing “instant photo” camera but I really want the old original model
Wax stamp - I want a signa instead of my initial because I have a very funny initials =D
Fountain Pen - I had one before but I lost it..
